This privacy notice tells you what to expect us to do with your personal information when you make contact with us or use one of our services.

Why we process your personal information

The UK Regulators Network “UKRN” collects and stores your contacts details when you sign up to our Newsletters, provide us with feedback, make an enquiry or when you respond to a Consultation.

We rely on your Consent to process your personal information.  By providing a response to Consultations you are deemed to consent to its publication. You are giving UKRN permission to process your personal data specifically for the purpose identified.  When responding to a Consultation, you will always be provided with our privacy policy.

When you make an enquiry, the lawful basis we are relying on to process your personal data is legitimate interests. This does not affect your fundamental rights and freedoms as a data subject.

Who sees your personal information and why

Responses to Consultations will be shared with the members of UKRN and will be published on the UKRN website if marked as “Public”.

When you sign up to our newsletter, we do not share your details with any third parties.

When you make an enquiry, we may have to share your contact details with the most appropriate Regulator to provide you with the best response.

How long we keep your personal information and why

We will retain consultation response information until our work on the subject matter of the consultation is complete.

If you have signed up to the Newsletter, we will delete your contact details when you unsubscribe.

Your individual rights

We rely on your consent to process your contact details. This means you have the right to withdraw your consent, or to object to the processing of your personal data for this purpose at any time. If at any point you want to withdraw your consent, please email consultation.ukrn@caa.co.uk. If you do that, we’ll update our records immediately to reflect your wishes.

Information Requests

UKRN are not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000. As such, any information request address to UKRN should be sent to the most appropriate member(s) of the network. A List of member organisations can be found here.
